12. ročník prestížneho podujatia BAFTA Game Awards máme za sebou. Čo priniesli výsledky? Zopár prekvapení určite.
Hrou roka sa totiž nestal ani jeden z favoritov, ale Fallout 4. Prekvapujúce je to aj preto, lebo mal k dispozícii len dve nominácie a v konečnom dôsledku premenil len jednu – avšak v najdôležitejšej kategórii. Naopak, podľa viacerých periodík najlepšie hry roku ako The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (7 nominácií), či Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (4 nominácie) neuspeli ani raz. Ostatným hrám nominovaným v tejto kategórii sa predsalen darilo o niečo viac. Life is Strange úspešne premenilo aspoň jednu z piatich nominácii, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture a Rocket League rovno tri.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Rocket League a Her Story sa troma soškami stali najúspešnejšími titulmi vôbec, aj keď môžeme povedať, že najväčšiu úspešnosť vykázalo prekvapenie menom Rocket League, ktoré na rovnaký úspech potrebovalo len 5 nominácií. Jeho úspech je o to pozoruhodnejší, že na prvý diel nazvaný Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars postavený na rovnakých princípoch si už dnes asi nespomenie nik.
